The great oz has finally realized the promise: The Scarecrow had a clever mind; the tin man has a good heart; the lion had the guts. But, this can get Dorothea out of a hurry! Because Oz is a little old change, he does not have the ability to help Dorothea return to Kansas! What about that?! After a while, they heard that the southern witch had this ability. So Dorothea recruited the flying monkeys, so that they could send Dorothea to the southern witch. Then, with the help of the southern witch, he returned to her home state, Kansas. 故事讲述一个名叫多萝西的小姑娘被龙卷风卷到一个叫陌生的地方，她远离了自已的家。她遇见了西方女巫，西方女巫指点她到翡翠城找大术士帮忙送她回家。路上，她先后遇到了稻草人、铁皮樵夫和胆小的狮子。他们都有同一个心愿，回到自己的.家乡。他们几经周折终于找到了那位大术士，可大术士说只有东方女巫才能实现他们各自的心愿，并且告诉他们找到东方女巫的办法，他们就按所指点的办法历经千辛万苦总算找到东方女巫，最后东方女巫用魔法帮他们都重返了家乡。
每看完一本书，心里都有许多的感触，就拿多萝西来说吧，她是一个多么勇敢、善良的女孩，遇到事情总能坚持着，并想出办法解决。我觉得我应该向她学习，在今后的日子里，无论在学习中遇到的困难，我都要善于思考、认真观察，学会不懂就问；同样在生活中遇到了困难我也不放弃，决不退缩，做一个勇敢、善良的人。
